More about Jan Williams

"Howdy and thanks for visiting my website. I would be happy to discuss your specific needs, goals and desires as to buying or selling real estate anywhere in the Denver metro area.

"From this website you can search thousands of homes currently on the market - and the search won't cost you anything. You don't have to provide me with any confidential information to use this search tool either. If you find a property that looks interesting, all I ask is that you give me the opportunity to discuss representing you in the purchase. You pay NO FEE for me to represent you. My fees are paid by the seller.

"I am an Accredited Buyer's Representative. This means that I have had special education and met criteria established by the National Association of Realtors to enhance my skills in representing you.

"I have lived in Colorado most of my life and love it. In addition to selling Denver area properties I have also sold land, cabins and homes in Southwest Colorado (Cortez-Dolores area).

"My involvement in the community includes being a member of MCC of the Rockies since April 1990, participation in numerous fund raising activities over the years and having served on the boards of various non-profit organizations in the past. I also worked on several political campaigns.

"Prior to becoming a Realtor I worked with 3 other guys in an investment banking partnership. Before that I was a broadcast journalist for more years than I choose to admit. Was Associated Press' Newsman of the Year for 1988. I lived in Washington, DC from 1980 until 1985 where I was an assistant press secretary for a U.S. Senator. While in DC I attended George Washington University while working full time and managing 2 apartment buildings. The buildings were owned by the C.E.O. of the National Association of Realtors so I learned from the best.

"I am currently single :(

"My personal interests include riding my bike, weight training, entertaining friends, movies, web surfing and gold mining. Yes, I own a gold mine in Arizona but rarely get the chance to do any work at it. I also am involved in my Mother's Native American jewelry business which is primarily marketed on the internet.

"I lost the joy of my life on February 19, 2003 when my little Pug dog Jemammy passed away very unexpectedly. She was my companion for 14 years 6 months and 3 days. You can visit her website (she ran for president in 2000) at www.dogforpresident.com"
